hand-applied graphite pencil on bamboo torch, with plastic, metal, stones, plaster, gauze, concrete, tulle, and wax
82 x 12 x 12 inches
Stacked buckets encased in gauze and plaster bandages are filled with rocks and concrete, acting as a makeshift pedestal for a graphite pencil coated tiki torch and artificial pineapple. Wax oozes from the torch and collects at the base; the sculpture is pierced with a graphite pencil coated arrow.
