The Soul Leaving The Body

A custom handmade graphite abaca paper balloon is unceremoniously attached to the wall with its string draping down creating a drawing line, at the end of which is a sickle; a symbol often associated with agriculture, the grim reaper, and communism. The air or breath in the balloon remains in spite of the weight trying to pull it down.
