graphite pencil on wood chair, medical tape
Without Legs No One Is Leaving relates to a figurative form and consists of a chair with all four legs severed—the chair knocked over, unusable and/or incapacitated. The sculpture is methodically hand coated in graphite pencil with seemingly endless strokes. The legs are heavily bandaged in medical tape as if healing an inanimate objects wounds.
